What We Do
Email Delivery
Send transactional notifications, event invitations, and announcements to opted-in subscribers.
Audience Management
All contacts must explicitly opt-in before any email is sent. We do not provide, sell, or share contact lists. Opt-outs are permanent and never overridden.
Compliance & Safety
Every email includes a legally required unsubscribe link. Opt-outs are processed immediately and permanently.
Delivery Infrastructure
DKIM, SPF, and DMARC authentication required on every verified sending domain before any email is permitted.
Our Opt-In Policy
Sarvak operates a strict permission-based email policy. We only permit sending to contacts who have explicitly opted in.
- All contacts must have provided explicit consent to receive emails from the sender.
- Purchased, rented, scraped, or harvested contact lists are strictly prohibited.
- Every email sent through Sarvak includes a one-click unsubscribe mechanism.
- Unsubscribed contacts are permanently added to a suppression list and never re-contacted.
- Users are contractually required to comply with CAN-SPAM, GDPR, and DPDP Act 2023.
Bounce & Complaint Handling
Sarvak uses Amazon SES event notifications via Amazon SNS to process bounces and complaints in real time. Our automated system ensures:
- Hard bounces are immediately added to the suppression list and never retried.
- Spam complaints trigger immediate suppression of the affected email address.
- Bounce and complaint rates are continuously monitored per sending domain.
- Accounts where bounce rate exceeds 5% or complaint rate exceeds 0.1% are suspended.
- All bounce and complaint events are logged and visible to the account administrator.
Email Authentication
Every sending domain must have the following DNS records configured and verified before any email can be sent:
SPF
Sender Policy Framework — authorises the sending infrastructure on behalf of your domain.
DKIM
DomainKeys Identified Mail — cryptographically signs every outgoing email.
DMARC
Domain-based Authentication — policy enforcement and aggregate reporting.
Webhook & Suppression Infrastructure
Every bounce and complaint event from Amazon SES is delivered to Sarvak's webhook endpoint (https://sarvak.in/api/webhook/ses) via Amazon SNS with full signature verification. Hard bounces are added to the suppression list within seconds. Spam complaints trigger immediate permanent suppression. Duplicate SNS deliveries are deduplicated using Redis to prevent double-counting. Accounts where bounce rates exceed 5% or complaint rates exceed 0.1% are suspended automatically.
